How this "GoogleMapsGuidance" thing works:
1. From any computer, find a location on
google maps. The location must be centered on the screen, so highest zoom level is recomended (and double-clicking a spot will re-center on that spot).
2. Click the "Email" link in the upper right corner of the map. Your default e-mail client will open up as. Mine happens to be set to Gmail, as shown below:
3. Nothing needs to be changed in the email, so just enter the email address chosen for your car and send!
4. Now, from your car PC, make sure iGuidance is running and then launch the GoogleMapsGuidance program. Everything should run automatically, and if done right will result in a screen like shown below:
5. Sucess! Now click "Nav" or "Map" to use your new location!
Above is the location of North Park in Broken Bow, Nebraska, which was located via Google Maps and then sent to iGuidance via Email.
